Available Grits

Available in 30#, 50#, 100#, 200#, 400#, 800#, 1500#, and 3000# to cover every stage of the dry polishing process.

Lower grit numbers contain larger diamond particles for aggressive scratch removal and rapid material refinement, while higher grit numbers use finer diamond particles to progressively improve surface smoothness, clarity, and gloss.

  1. 30#–100# – Aggressive polishing and removal of scratches left by previous grinding stages.
  2. 200#–400# – Surface refinement and early gloss development.
  3. 800#–3000# – High-gloss polishing, enhanced clarity, and mirror-like finish.

Selecting the proper grit progression helps maximize polishing efficiency, extend pad life, and produce a consistent, professional-quality finish.

  3. How to measure concrete floor hardness?
Rebound test for PSI hardnessA rebound test (Schmidt Hammer test) is a quick, non-destructive method to estimate the compressive strength (PSI) and surface hardness of a concrete floor.
Scratch test for Mohs scaleThe Mohs hardness test measures how resistant concrete is to scratching by using tools with known hardness levels. A test pick is dragged across the concrete surface, and the scratch is inspected. The highest-numbered pick that can scratch the surface represents the concrete’s surface hardness. Mohs scale ranges from 1 (soft) to 10 (hard).
