4 Inch Resin Dry & Wet Polishing Pad

Engineered with premium diamond abrasives and a high-performance resin bond, it delivers excellent scratch refinement, superior gloss, and consistent polishing results in both dry and wet applications.

Unlike polishing pads designed for only one operating condition, this dual-purpose pad offers the flexibility to work with or without water, allowing contractors to adapt to different jobsite requirements while maintaining reliable polishing performance.

Available Grits

The 4 Inch Resin Dry & Wet Polishing Pad is available in 30#, 50#, 100#, 200#, 400#, 800#, 1500#, and 3000# grits to cover every stage of the polishing process.

Lower grit numbers contain larger diamond particles for aggressive scratch removal and rapid material refinement, while higher grit numbers use finer diamond particles to progressively improve surface smoothness, clarity, and gloss.

Following the complete grit progression helps achieve optimal polishing efficiency and a professional-quality finish.

Dry or Wet Polishing – Which Should You Choose?

This polishing pad is designed to perform effectively in both operating conditions:

  • Dry Polishing – Ideal for jobs where water use is limited. It improves productivity and simplifies cleanup while maintaining excellent polishing performance.
  • Wet Polishing – Water cools the diamond abrasives, reduces heat buildup, minimizes dust, and helps produce maximum gloss and surface clarity.

The ability to switch between dry and wet polishing makes this pad a practical solution for contractors working in a variety of jobsite environments.

Scratch test for Mohs scaleThe Mohs hardness test measures how resistant concrete is to scratching by using tools with known hardness levels. A test pick is dragged across the concrete surface, and the scratch is inspected. The highest-numbered pick that can scratch the surface represents the concrete’s surface hardness.
