These tools are ideal for surface preparation before concrete grinding and polishing. ACE Diamond Tooling offers various PCD Diamond Tooling configurations to fit leading floor grinders. Each tool delivers high productivity and consistent performance.

Optimizing the Trapezoid 1/4PCD with Bar

The trapezoid 1/4 pcd with a sacrificial bar or metal bond button is designed to remove coatings without damaging the concrete. The bar acts as a stabilizer and depth guide.

This design reduces floor gouging caused by aggressive segments. They are suitable for removal of medium to thin mastics or glues and epoxy coatings of 30 mils or less.

1/4PCD Without Sacrificial Bar or Metal Bond Button is suitable for removal of:

Thick mastics and glues, and thick elastomeric membranes;

1/4” Thick Parking Deck Membranes;

30 mils and up epoxy coatings, and any coating with silica sand broadcast mixed in.

Using the right pcd coating removal tooling ensures a smooth finish. This Trapezoid 1/4PCD with Bar configuration provides a controlled grind for delicate surface prep projects.

Important Reminder: PCD tools are direction-specific (clockwise or counterclockwise). Always confirm your machine's grinding head rotation before purchasing or installing to avoid performance issues.
