Double Button Diamond Tooling for Fast Change System

The Double Button Diamond Tooling for Fast Change System is designed for professional concrete grinding, surface preparation, floor leveling, and surface refinement.

Featuring two round diamond segments, the Double Button Diamond Tooling provides a good balance between cutting performance, grinding stability, and tool life. The double-button design provides consistent contact with the concrete surface, helping produce an even scratch pattern while maintaining efficient material removal.

The fast change design allows for quick installation and replacement, reducing tooling change time and improving efficiency on concrete grinding projects.

Available Grits for the Double Button Diamond Tooling

Available grits include:

16/20, 16, 20, 30, 30/40, 50, 60/80, 60, 70, 80/100, 80, 100, 100/120, 120, 150, and 200 grit.

Lower grit numbers contain coarser diamond particles and provide more aggressive cutting, making them suitable for initial concrete grinding, surface leveling, and removing surface imperfections.

Higher grit numbers contain finer diamond particles and produce a finer scratch pattern, making them suitable for surface refinement and preparing the concrete for subsequent polishing steps.

Choosing the correct grit is important for achieving the desired grinding result. The appropriate grit depends on the condition of the concrete, the amount of material that needs to be removed, and the next step in your grinding or polishing process. Using a grit that is too coarse may leave unnecessary deep scratches, while starting with a grit that is too fine may reduce grinding efficiency.

If you are unsure which grit to choose for your project, please contact us and we will be happy to recommend the appropriate grit.

Bond Options – Choose Based on Concrete Hardness

Selecting the correct bond is essential for achieving efficient grinding performance and extending the life of your diamond tooling. The bond refers to the metal matrix that holds the diamond particles and controls how quickly fresh diamonds are exposed during grinding.

As a general rule, soft concrete requires a harder bond, while hard concrete requires a softer bond. Using the correct bond helps maintain consistent cutting performance, prevents premature tool wear, and improves overall tooling life.

We offer multiple bond options for different concrete hardness levels. Please refer to the bond selection chart below and choose the appropriate bond according to the Mohs hardness or PSI of your concrete.

Packaging

9 pieces per box. Each grinding tool is individually secured in a protective foam slot to help prevent movement and damage during transportation and storage.

Each inner box is labeled with the product specifications for easy identification and inventory management.

Tested & Proven Quality

Our diamond tooling is regularly tested and approved by our sister company, Custom Concrete Prep & Polish, whose team has over 10 years of professional experience in concrete grinding, surface preparation, and polishing. Real-world jobsite testing helps us ensure consistent grinding performance, durability, and reliable tool life.

We maintain strict quality standards and receive very few quality-related complaints. However, if you experience a verified quality issue, please contact us. We stand behind our products and will provide a 100% refund or replacement for the affected tooling, according to your preference.

Made to Order & Return Policy

Our diamond tooling is made to order according to each customer’s specifications, including grit, bond, and other selected options. Every order is manufactured and shipped as brand-new tooling.

For this reason, used products cannot be returned or refunded for non-quality-related reasons. Please carefully confirm the product specifications, compatibility, grit, and bond before placing your order. If you are unsure which option is right for your machine or project, please contact us before ordering and we will be happy to assist you.

FAQs

  1. Do you have expedited shipping?
We are already using the fastest shipping solution available. Our company and customer service team are based in the United States, but to ensure high quality, competitive pricing, and a wide range of options for customers, our products are made-to-order and shipped directly from the factory.
  2. Do I need to pay import duties?
For customers in the United States (except for U.S. island territories), the current price already includes all applicable taxes. For customers in other countries, import duties may apply. If duties are required, the courier company will contact you directly and assist with the payment and processing.
  3. How to measure concrete floor hardness?
Rebound test for PSI hardnessA rebound test (Schmidt Hammer test) is a quick, non-destructive method to estimate the compressive strength (PSI) and surface hardness of a concrete floor.
Scratch test for Mohs scaleThe Mohs hardness test measures how resistant concrete is to scratching by using tools with known hardness levels. A test pick is dragged across the concrete surface, and the scratch is inspected. The highest-numbered pick that can scratch the surface represents the concrete’s surface hardness. Mohs scale ranges from 1 (soft) to 10 (hard).
