Resin Wet Polishing Pads for Concrete & Terrazzo

The Resin Wet Polishing Pads are engineered for professional wet polishing of concrete, terrazzo, and other cement-based floors. Manufactured with premium diamond abrasives and a high-performance resin bond, these polishing pads deliver exceptional gloss, smooth surface refinement, and consistent polishing performance.

Available in 3”, 4”, 5”, 6”, and 7” diameters, these pads feature a 3 mm working thickness for excellent durability and long service life. The Hook & Loop (Velcro) backing allows quick pad changes and secure attachment to most floor polishing machines.

Designed specifically for wet polishing, these pads use water to cool the diamonds, reduce friction, minimize dust, and enhance polishing efficiency, making them ideal for producing high-gloss concrete and terrazzo finishes.

Lower grit numbers contain larger diamond particles for faster material removal and scratch refinement, while higher grit numbers use finer diamond particles to progressively improve surface smoothness, clarity, and gloss.

* 30#–100# – Aggressive scratch removal and initial surface refinement.

* 200#–400# – Smooths the surface and develops an even finish.

* 800#–3000# – Produces a high-gloss, mirror-like polished surface.

Following the recommended grit progression helps maximize polishing efficiency and achieve a professional-quality finish.

  3. How to measure concrete floor hardness?
    Rebound test for PSI hardnessA rebound test (Schmidt Hammer test) is a quick, non-destructive method to estimate the compressive strength (PSI) and surface hardness of a concrete floor.
    Scratch test for Mohs scaleThe Mohs hardness test measures how resistant concrete is to scratching by using tools with known hardness levels. A test pick is dragged across the concrete surface, and the scratch is inspected. The highest-numbered pick that can scratch the surface represents the concrete’s surface hardness. Mohs scale ranges from 1 (soft) to 10 (hard).
